If you want more information on it, there's a lot that can be found out there. You can compare it to motion sickness to an extent, what you feel and experience doesn't match up with what your brain expects pretty much. Basically because it confuses your brain things don't work well and after a while you pay the price in form of dizziness or headaches. I'm not that much affected by it myself, but some games do get to me after a couple of hours.
World of Tanks wasn't too bad, but if the FOV has truly been lowered it can be bad for some people.
When you look at at tv or monitor the angle is almost alaways smaller than that. Basically human brains are trained to be used to what you can naturally see. In my opinion this is just a bit too much fisheye, although it does give a nice overview and doesn't give brain damage like WG's settings. Other people seem to go with 120 HorizontalFOV.
After some testing I think this is closest to what is was in 8.10. Personally I am going with the settings mentioned above. My resolution is 1920x1080 - 16:9.
